This is a garden that creates privacy and calm for a family within the city. The design uses clean, straight lines and simple elements to create a contemporary design. Bluestone walls and paving, flanked by a row of Magnolia grandiflora 'St Marys' create an oasis that is the lower terrace. The whole garden is surrounded by a beautifully crafted cedar fence of horizontal boards - the fence unifies the garden. Three Red Maples add color to the garden, and in the fall white Japanese Anenomes fill the garden with blooms.
